| | | Heartbroken Goose ? We have a pair of Barnacle Geese nesting on our garden pond, however two days go for no apparant reason one of the geese just sat down and died.
No marks but think it may have been the female and maybe was egg bound ?
Anyone any ideas and the remaining Goose is now wandering around completely lost and appears heart broken. Any advice what to expect the remaining goose to do as it is currently performing a guarddog type role keeping predators away from the nesting ducks ? |
