Which wader?
Knot or Sanderling maybe? Seen at Musselburgh, Lothian.

Grey Plover, the other two birds you mention are far smaller.

Has more of a Plover look about it to me, so Grey Plover

See how it looks like it's wearing dark grey eyeshadow? That's characteristic for grey plover.
