| | | Re: Eagle or Buzzard Thank you all for your input and help in identifying. On tuesday I went on a wildlife expedition and experienced my first WTE and Golden Eagle. In fact we saw 2 WTE on nests and 3 Juveniles. The golden eagle we saw was displaying, swooping up and down. It was quite a sight, but unfortunately it was too high up to get a good photo. However, just going on that trip taught me so much about how and where to spot many different species of bird and even the otters. So consequently, yesterday, myself and my partner had a fantastic day despite very wet weather. We saw 2 WTE's (I have attached a photo of one below), Buzzard, Hen Harrier, Kestrel, SparrowHawk (we think - if flew past rather fast and we lost sight), and then a bunch of birds we'd never seen before - Yellowhammer, Eider, ChiffChaff/Willow Warbler (can't quite figure out which it is so i'm going back to the spot to see if i can work out their song), Twite, Black Guillemot and Great Northern Diver.
Having a fantastic time here. I would advise everyone to get over here an enjoy the wildlife.
Here's the WTE photo -
This photo really shows off the wingspan of this bird!
Let me know your thoughts.

| | | Re: Eagle or Buzzard Hey
Sorry to add to this. I took this on Skye over the weekend. Sorry for the poor quality but it's a still from a movie.
I fear I know the answer already but is this an eagle or more as I suspect a buzzard? http://www.wildaboutbritain.co.uk/ar...02550_0001.jpg
Thanks to anyone that can help.
