| | | Gull id please This gull was very distant on the low tide on the severn estuary.I have zoomed in as far as i can.I took the photo because it looked very white in colour.I realise id may not be possible but would like your opinions |

| | | Re: Gull id please The bird was facing away ,i did not notice any black in the wings through my binoculars either,which made me curious and took the shot even though it was a long long way out.I guess it may be the angle that is preventing the black in wings showing in this distant photo.Sorry doghound no other shots as the bird stayed still and it was not possible to change the angle of view.
I Have got a few other photos of similarly distant birds but i think they are too hard too id.
