| | | Birds not on my year list 2011 I note birds on my local patch every year and although my list is not very extensive, I usually manage upto 100 regulars. However this year I am still looking for the following; Brambling, Linnet, Green Woodpecker, Little Grebe, Grey Partridge, Snipe, Great Black Backed Gull, Barn Owl, Little Owl, Sand Martin, House Martin, Swallow, Meadow Pipit, Whitethroat and Redpoll. Of course it is too early for some summer visitors and other absentees will be winter casualties but yet more are in continuing long term decline.
