Osterley Park today
Popped over to Osterley Park near Hounslow today. Been there many times to do with work but never been birding there in my own time.

Saw 41 species with the highlights being Lesser Spotted Woodpecker, Little Owl Treecreeper, Nuthatch, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Goldcrest, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker, Stock Dove, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel.

Called in to Staines Reservoirs on the way back and picked up 3 Arctic Terns flying around the south basin along with a few Little Gulls. Didn't get the Yellow Wagtails that had been reported earlier.

Sounds like you had a superb day there!

Only ever seen a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker once!
