The bird was very obliging while I was there, and by all accounts at most of the time!
It was very exciting to see, as you can imagine.
But!..................
Not everyone there was obliging! The Crake is in a small creek only accessible from a board walk. So not many can see it at once.
Unfortunately, there are some that think they own the spot, and are not prepared to move on, so that others can see this lovely bird.
But it was well worth going to see!
By all accounts. The center is staying open till 8 pm tonight. |
