| | | Waxwings not left yet! There are still loads of Waxwings around in S.Essex. Considering they arrived in November I wonder if this a record length of stay. I know it's probably been the largest influx on record but I wonder what the latest recorded date is for one staying.

Dave | Waxwings, like redwing and fieldfare, will sometimes linger into May. I've never seen any myself this late, but I have seen both of the latter species locally (Cheshire) in May. The final post in this thread might interest you: Waxwings
