| | | Small things please After seeing the red legged mystery birds ( see other post) , got to the golf course and noticed a few feeders up around the patio area( nice touch i thought for a golf club) played 9 holes and whilst taking a break i noticed a house martins nest under the eaves of the club house , and during my time admiring it, as one does , i noticed 2 blue tits pop inside. 1 came out and was doing some outside renovation, so took that it was its home for the forseable future.
Again by the patio area right next to the 18th green is a lake, beautiful , picturesque , and what with the weather i could have stayed there admiring the heron , which seemed at home. Awaiting to tee off for the 2nd round i took to watching him/her as it was walking around the lake then stopping, and then bam it went for its lunch.Coming up empty beaked.
I probably have said this before, but its these little things, habits, manerisms, everyday activity, that i like about watching birds.
( sorry , i just wanted to share that with you , the wife dont understand yet , what i see in them. )

| | | Re: Small things please Its in the blood, I sat in the garden doing the ironing today so I could watch the birds. One of the robins comes down when he sees me and sits a few feet away. |
