| | | Re: Annoying Pigeons Evening WT, and welcome to WAB!
Have you tried creating two differing food-sources? One broad one that the pigeons can go for, and a standard one for the regular birds that is physically-arranged to prevent the pigeons using both?
If you stick with only one that makes it hard for the pigeons, they'll end up spending more time there trying to get at the food and putting smaller birds off. If they have ' easier-pickings' nearby then they'll happily go there, leaving the smaller birds to it.
Take care, Jason |

| | | Re: Annoying Pigeons Get some of the cheap seed that has a high proportion of wheat in it and scatter it on the ground - pigeons are greedy and will go for the easy pickings and leave the best seed for the little ones. They also clear up dropped bits and keep your garden tidy.

| | | Re: Annoying Pigeons So, if I have a tray of bread on the ground away from the feeder, then the pigeons will go for the easy option, thus leaving the little birdies to go about their daily business? Ahh, now that makes sence! | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
