| | | White bellied cormorant Hi guys. At my local Nature Reserve I have just seen a cormorant with a white belly (see photos below) sorry for the photos I was a long way away. Does anyone know why it has a white bellie. Is it a juvie or a different species? |

The British race of Shag has dark belly in juv plumage, but there are other races + at least one has pale belly! |

| | | Re: White bellied cormorant This one has a whiteish belly, taken last week. I assumed it was a juvenile but wasn't certain.
