Santon Downham

I'm curious to know if there is a rare Bird at Santon Downham. The Copse next to the river Little Ouse. On the right after crossing river bridge. Lots of Twitchers there..

No idea, but there are always nuthatch their, as well as hawfinch, sometimes. Good place for sparrowhawk as well.

Nothing reported - which means that it is unlikely to have been lots of "twitchers" that you saw! More likely it was an organised birdwatching group, perhaps being shown Breckland specialities by a guide.

Its a good site to see Lesser Spotted Woodpecker. Been very reliable recently.
