| | | Sardinian Warbler Having seen on RBA that a Sardinian Warbler had made a brief visit to Norfolk, I thought that as I've never seen one I'd look it up. Looks a bit like a cross between a Blackcap and a Whitethroat to me.
Always amazes me how birders pick these visitors out so quickly. I think I'd have thought Blackcap at first.

| | | Re: Sardinian Warbler Its often a lot more awkward with these warblers as most turn up in autumn and are 1st years which are very subtle looking birds compared to some of our common species. |

| | | Re: Sardinian Warbler Their song is very distinct + often the most common warbler in many parts of the Med. I've been lucky to see 3 or 4 in the UK. That red eye stands out in a good view. |
