| | | Re: Sexing Barn Owls The left bird is almost certainly the male(judging by these photos). Although I would need better photo's to say for sure. The differences are often subtle and require a good look at colour and darkness/spotting of the underwing, flanks and breast. In the hand the the flange on the 1st talon can also be used. |
