| | | Wheatears Got home late last night from an enjoyable weeks holiday. Awoke this morning to a beautiful blue sky, loads of blossom on the trees and quite a few of these chaps on my patch.
Its a good time of the year. |

| | | Re: Wheatears Excellent photos, Snake.
The more upright one is a superb, but I really like the other with what looks like a bee in the background.
Good to see one of the long distance migrants returning.

| | | Re: Wheatears two were on my local patch yesterday but 95 were recorded at Spurn Point and wish i had been there to see that. It's also well worth getting out and about to see what is tagging along with them |

| | | Re: Wheatears Where are folks seeing wheatears at the moment?
Could be the very good weather that is helping them move north, but I saw one about a couple of miles north of Stac Pollaidh this morning.

| | | Re: Wheatears I can't remember a spring with so many Wheatear sightings in the London area. There have been some high counts + birds all over the place. I've seen them at most sites I've visited in recent weeks. |

| | | Re: Wheatears Oodles of them passing through Staines Moor at the moment. Saw at least 9 myself the other day when the highest count was 16 on that day.
Cheers,
