Sparowhawk island/live cams

Hi all

spring is here now and its getting busy here at sparrowhawk island,i have robin on eggs,woodpigeon baby just hatched,canada geese 3 eggs,grey wagtail just building,moorehen building,blue tit,great tit,longtailed tit has 8 eggs up to now.

sparrowhawks are using last years nest as it failed due to disturbance of construction workers on the river.

i have never seen them use a old nest before,but i guess as it never got used with kills bought in its very clean.
so hawks not so busy building as a nest is already there,but should line nest with fresh leaves shortly,at moment they sit close by protecting nest and territory from other hawks.

goldfinches just building and will have cams on other birds as i find them,i hope you all enjoy this years action.

i remember watching springwatch when chris packam came to visit, and boy have you put some time and effort in, great to watch , thanks for putting the post up, and ill enjoy watching your webcams, regards rossy.
