Which Bird of prey ?
Today at 2pm i saw this bird circling high in the sky.It did not strike me as a common buzzard at the time as it appeared too have to little dark markings underside which made me grab this distant shot as i thought goshawk maybe but having loaded the picture and zoomed in , i am even more confused . Any ideas please ,i realise it may well be a buzzard but would like confirmation.

Agree. Certainly a paler individual, but markings can be variable. I've noticed the birds in France seem much more variable than the ones I see in the UK.

Pale common buzzard for me as well.
Very common in Wales ;-)
