| | | Help with ID please Hi all!
Saw this bird at RSPB Arne today. I think it's a chaffinch (because of the white bits on the wings ... I dont know the technical names!)
But ... the head shape doesnt look like one :S
Was just wondering if some one could help me out? Sorry its not great quality!!

| | | Re: Help with ID please Well, the one in the photo was singing his heart out. But I think there were one or two others that were in the tree ... maybe nesting?
Sorry to ask ANOTHER ID but ....
I saw this bird today at Blashford Lakes in Dorset. I know it's not a great photo ... but to me it looks the same as the one yesterday. The markings on the wings look very similar.
When I saw it ... it was on a little bank near one of the lakes. But all the lakes back onto woodland too. I hope that helps
Thanks for you help!
