| | | Hoopoes in South Devon Just moved into a house which backs onto a orchard, and to my suprise since Thursday have been observing a couple of these beautiful birds feeding on the ground amongst the rabbits.I spent a large part on last year living on the Costa Blanca where they are common, but this is the first time ive seen them in this country. Is this unusual ? |

| | | Re: Hoopoes in South Devon They are not common in the UK, but some stray here most years from what I have read. There have been a couple hanging around west Cornwall over the last 2 weeks. |
