| | | Pheasants Yesterday i found 4 hen pheasants closely looked after by a cock pheasant.Will the cock pheasant pair off with one of these females or does he get to breed with them all ? Managed a photo of the cock pheasant but not the hens. |

| | | Re: Pheasants We had a pair of pheasants that used to feed regularly in the garden with the other birds, the female got as tame as the chucks and she used to wait under one of the shrubs and come to me as I was getting the bird food out ready to throw some on the ground, they must have nested fairly close by as they appeared with young, then the female stopped coming but the male came a couple more times with his brood then stopped bringing them, but that male and one with different markings still come almost daily but rarely together to feed and strut about drumming and calling as if they own the place
