Pale Collared Dove

Took this back in October last year in my back garden and was wondering if you thought it is a Leucistic collared dove, not seen it again since so haven't got a better photo
of it

Interesting could just be natural variation. Birds from the far west of their european range tend to be paler. This is a young bird too which tend to have a paler appearance.

This is interesting!

I recently had a Collared Dove in my garden with unusual feathering.



As you can see the feathers, mainly on one side, are very pale and the collar appears to be thicker than usual.

Collared Doves are frequent visitors to my garden and I have never seen anything like this before.
