Chaffing with growths on feet

This poor thing turned up at my hide yesterday. He was fairly dominant though and looked in good health. Any one any idea what it is and if it will get worse?

It's a papillomavirus and one of the reasons that I will actually use bleach to clean my feeders and surrounding areas. As far as I know it will remain localised to the feet and legs of the Chaffinch and be an inconvenience more than anything. But I'm prepared to be proven wrong.

Thanks Deb, the Chaffinches very rarely use the feeders as I scatter bird seed over the forest floor. I hate to see these things though.

Lovely images of the Chaffinch Fudgey, although upsetting to see his little feet!
He looks healthy otherwise though and is feeding OK, so touch wood he'll be fine.
