| | | Skylark + Rock Pipit?
Evening all,
Had a lovely morning on Killard Point Nature Reserve yesterday. Sand Martins flying around the cliffs and Skylarks performing their display flights. Got some good views of them on the ground too! 
Now on the day before I saw some Meadow Pipits which I posted a picture on here and was confirmed by WAB members thank you. I did however spot this the next day on rocky coast line not disimilar to the place I saw the meadow pipit but it looks slightly different, maybe just the light, could it be a Rock Pipit? Sorry for poor quality.

The smudged streaking on the front (fine and sharpe on meadow), grey body (brown in meadow) should be enough to seperate from meadow pipit and the call. Rock pipits are more similar to water pipits. |
