Persistent Chaffinch
This chaffinch has been trying to fly through our lounge window for the past 2 days. Can anybody explain this behaviour?

Almost certainly correct. I've witnessed all types of finches doing this.

Yes that makes sense. Even with the curtains closed he is tapping the window, so not trying to get at something in the room. Thanks guys. Bob
