| | | What do Peregrines do when it's hot? Thins morning we had a pair of Peregrines perching on two spires in the town. By one o'clock there was no sign of them.
Do the fly off great distances to hunt (there's plenty of pigeons in town)? Or would they find somewhere a bit cooler to hold up if it's too sunny? |

Actual sizes vary according to the chosen habitat and availability of prey species. 4 square miles isn't unusual. The pair I often watch tend to tuck themselves away up a shady gully between two cliffs when it gets really warm |
