| | | Salisbury Bustards Does anyone know the whereabouts of the Great Bustards on Salisbury Plain? I'm up that way for a wedding on Saturday and wouldn't mind seeing them. Can PM me if you don't want to display the location publicly.
Thanks,
Nige |

| | | Re: Salisbury Bustards The release site is on the RAF Larkhill site due north of Stonehenge. Driving west past the henge on the A303 turn right at the first roundabout and head straight on over at the crossroads. There are signs from here.
I believe it costs about £7 to get in and is best to book in advance, in fact I think that's the only way you can do it, it being a military site.
Cheers,

| I think you are referring to signs to either the Bustard Inn, or 'bustards' which is some MOD thing, its nothing to do with birds or the GB release site! That is further North on the Plain. To visit the release site, you need to contact the Great Bustard Group- if you book to visit(cost was £10 last year) they send you details of where to meet the guide.
