| | | A dead owl? Hello,
I stumbled on this dead bird today in a water meadow by the river Arun in Sussex. Was wondering if it could be an owl? Poor fella.
Thanks |

Believe me, Barn Owls are beautiful birds and it's a shame that this is your first experience of seeing one! Hopefully you'll see another - alive and well next time!

| | | Re: A dead owl? Sadly Barn Owl appears to have been one of the species worst hit by the extreme weather back in late November/December. Last year they had a fairly poor breeding season as many were probably not in peak condition due to the severe weather the preceding winter.
Hopefully you'll get to see alive one soon- they are beautiful birds to watch hunting. North Norfolk is one area they seem to be quite common. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
