| | | Re: My special bird of the day Ty wild-woman, I was parked in a car park in castle grounds with my window down & camera out with a scrim net down. Several Hawfinches were happily feeding until this lady approached and spooked them and told me I couldn't park there and I'd have to move to the other end of the car park. Me and another fella who was doing the same as me obliged and moved to where she was parked. I thought she had some thing to do with the castle at 1st then I noticed her RSPB logo. I asked her nicely why we couldn't park in a designated parking space and she got rather annoyed saying that we would disturb the hawfinches. A bit rich considering they were coming readily when I was there & it was her that scared them. Any way I asked for her name several times, but she refused. She then left saying she was going to get us removed from the car park, but as I expected no one came. What a compete idiot she made of herself, several other bird watchers/photographers that witnessed her behaviour all agreed that she was way over the top. |

| | | Re: My special bird of the day There was a lot more to it than I've posted, it got rather heated at times. I'm on my phone now and it's hard working typing :-) any way I seen a beautiful bird so I'm buzzing despite Miss Mouthy trying to pee on my fire. |
