| | | Re: Identify this bird, Norwich 16/03/11 My little book tells me the male (which this is) Gambels has a black belly spot and that they are close, but I suspect the light brown forehead shows it to be a California male escapee.
But have a look to see.
It also looks to have a ring on the left leg - see if you can get the number, there will be an internet connection to find it (cagebirds and so on) others will know more than me about that!
