jackdaws coming into roost

tonight just before 6 o clock, i watched in amazment as hundreds of jackdaws came into roost, and what a spectacle it was, people have been asking me what birds , were they for a few weeks now, but it was the first time i actually witnessed it for myself, anyone who lives local, and wants to pop down to see them , its whitworth road, or bently street , rochdale, just behind the tesco express ,on the way up to healey dell, rossy.
