Landing on a dime..

Not know for there brillaint landings...i was admiring 4 LTT's last nighht when to my amazment

2 mallards came out of know where and landed in my pond.I happened last week with one , but this time the dog was in the house and they sayed for a while until the dog chased em away again.

Will they keep coming back?the female enjoyed herself ans rarely came up for air. they gout out of the pond and went for a little walk , then got back in ..

They will be starting to breed soon, so its unlikely they will stay too long. I doubt they will breed here although they do sometimes have nests in weird places.
