Due to a law of natural perversity, I've hardly seen a magpie this year - certainly not in numbers. However, their 'disappearance' has coincided with the return of jays ..... or is it coincidence?  |

I was counting them the other day, I got about 18 before I lost count. There must have been over 50 in the flock. |
