we have had a pair of these lovely little doves visiting us now for the past month, every morning they come down for seed that i put out, looking at where they normally live do they ofton stray soo far off course?

have just had a look at a post by "john" and these birds are the same as the photo.

No they don't. Yours will be Feral Pigeons that have very similar plumage (can't see a pic at the mo') to their wild forebears. I believe genuine Rock Doves only occur on the Scottish Islands now.
