| | | Sparrowhawk V Starling I heard a terrific squeaking from the garden, looking over the fence, there was a small (male) SparrowHawk firmly engaged with a Starling.
The Starling was putting up a real fight jabbing with its beak and flapping its wings in a bid to dislodge the Hawk, they were still at it when I returned with my camera I took a lot of shots but there was a twig of Euonomous hiding the Sparrow Hawks head in nearly all of them! lots of feathers flying.
