| | | First Migrants? Anyone keep records of their first local bird migrants /visitors?
I had a few from last year - Swift 30th April
Sand Martin 22nd March
I'm going to make better records this year, great for ongoing Phenology studies, and to submit to the Woodland Trust website is useful info for them: nature's calendar |

| | | Re: First Migrants? If you put your bird sightings on the Birdtrack website, you can see the date of your first of each migrant species for each year you send in records. It also shows what the earliest record was for that species in your region.

| | | Re: First Migrants? Any Redwings still about anyone?
I had two male Black Caps in my garden this morning, feeding on apples I'd put out, however they'd spent the whole winter around here. |

As for redwings, yes they are still about up here (and fieldfares).
