| | | Bird Baths broke old one smashing ice with a lump hammer (not very clever i know)! got another same as Plastic pedastal only ever got Sparrows,Blackbirds etc not tiny birds Tits etc now realize it was to deep.
Have put stones and pebbles in to a depth of 1-2 inches is this still to deep? and should i try to create a shallow bit for smaller birds to wade in?.
and finally should the bird bath be placed near cover or in the open do get the occasional pussy.
Advice appreciated. |

| | | Re: Bird Baths Shallow will be great for the birds to drink from and bathe.Place bath away from from falling leaves but not far from cover for birds to go if disturbed. Stones should be raised to water level as they may need a place to shake of water from the feathers.
