On Monday, the sun shone!

Quite early on when taking my usual route to and around Fen Drayton, I happened upon a couple of treecreepers. They were scutttling up and down quite high up in a small group of trees, flashing in and out of the sun and shadow.

Here are five shots - great fun trying to draw a bead on them and maintain what passes for my sanity

Nice shots Colin. Darned difficult bird to get good shots of, unless your lucky enough to find one that's actually found some dinner, when they will actually stop for a few seconds to eat the tasty insect.
Only once have I witnessed this, despite seeing Treecreepers hundreds of times. Makes me wonder how many insects they actually catch in a day.

Lovely shots Colin. I see Treecreepers fairly regularly, when I walk along the Monsal Trail from home.
