| | | Tallest Open-top Bird Table I'm struggling to find many open top ones, but the new garden I have doesn't really allow a roofed one; so would anyone know where I could by the tallest open top one? Thanks |

You could just not fix the top on it when you assemble it. |

| | | Re: Tallest Open-top Bird Table What do you call tall? I mean if you are 4'6".......
As Kayleigh says the taller the more unstable so you need a huge base, if you can, best is make one to suit. Dig a hole around 18" deep x !0" dia. put a 3" pre treated fence post in the hole add a bag of dry post mix to the hole add water check it is vertical wait 10 minutes, leave until the following day.
screw four small shelf brackets at the top of the post. Screw on a wooden tray of appropriate size, add food, retire to viewing position.

| | | Re: Tallest Open-top Bird Table I bought the tallest Metpost that I could transport, a Metpost spike and fitted these to a ground feeder as the table (I wanted something airy). It's lasted years, but it's so tall it's a beggar to clean.
