A Paddyfield Warbler at Pagham today.Plus a couple of Marsh Harriers and a Bearded Tit.
Then back down to Calshot to have another look at the Spanish Sparrow,which is looking even smarter now ,and is edging nearer to summer plumage  |

could no chose between these turn stones that dropped in next to me on the prom whilst I was trying to do a bit of sea watching in Blackpool got told they may have thought I was fishing and came to scrounge some bait 
And this sparrow hawk that answered my Q as to why there were no birds were at the feeding stn at LNR later on in Blackpool  MIKE |

A female Kestrel today, in the same place as before (sort of). Now all we need is a male and away we go.

A Great spotted woodpecker, clacking around high up a tree. We watched it for about 5 minutes, lovely.
