Hopefully the birding part will get me a chance of a photo like yours as I know Pied Flys are there usually.

That'll only happen if Mrs Lewis has confiscated your gear and put in in a safe! And even then I'll put money on you not being able to get to the departure lounge without at least buy a disposable job!
Congratulations and have a lovely time

Congratulations and have a lovely time | If I take a camera the changes of us getting to the 26th anniversary are slim! plus I actually like the idea of no camera and no kids |

| | | Re: Bird of the day! I was hoping to get shots of Pied Flys today at Coombes Valley in Staffs but they were not to be found. They have been reported as arrived but I could neither here or see any. There were a few Redstarts about but far too high to photograph but one bird which just has to be my bird of the day was this confiding Chiffchaff. I have never photographed one before so this was a pleasing moment for me.

My bird for the day is a tatty Buzzard. His wing looks to be torn. |
