| | | Re: Bird of the day! A pair of Buzzards, a couple of Greenshank, some sandwich terns and swallows but my bird of the day is my first Cettis warbler of the year. (although I have heard plenty). Also heard a grasshopper warbler and booming bittern.

I'm really excited. We had 3 ravens here at Alice Holt Forest during the snow in Jan/feb . I thought they'd gone back to the New Forest or wherever they drifted in from.
It'd be so brilliant if they started to breed here in NE Hants again

| | | Re: Bird of the day! Well the surprise at hearing a Willow Warbler on my estate earlier in the week turned to amazement this morning when whilst watering the garden the Willow Warbler came into my Silver Birch and started to sing away.
Never expected that.
