My bird(s) of the day would have to be the jay I spotten in an avenue of trees at the roadside... when I backed up to have another look he moved on and I saw my very first Great Spotted Woodpecker... double whammy!

Well done everybody for their birds today there are some great shots from all.Beryl your long tailed tit is sooo cute.I got nothing today well not a good enough photo.My bird of the day and the only one to photograph were Teals on the Otter.Unfortunately they were a way off although you can see what they are they had to be heavily cropped.Will keep the photos just for my records but as soon as I get a better shot they will be binned |
