I didn't get out much today,though I have loads of Jackdaws fly by on their way to roost ,past my house everyday.I love their calls and their playful flight.  |

Four Little Egrets along the upper River Wey near Bentley in Hants. They're very shy and I had a job to get even these pics

Mine will have to be sparrows, wood pigeons, blackbirds, robin and two blue tits. These are the regular visitors to my garden. Hmm I think I need to get out more. |

My bird of the day has to be the resident Mistle Thrush who greeted me this morning, s/he looked at me full on whilst she was sat on the wall outside the kitchen window! They are beautiful birds!  No camera at hand just a bowl full of suds!

The first blackcap appeared on the honeysuckle berries. A bit later than usual this year. Two mistle thrushes on the whitebeam berries early this morning too.
