Without question the gorgeous bearded tits at Minsmere yesterday. Both my son and I stood there open mouthed while about 15 of them pinged, then flew to the next clump of reeds then showed themselves beautifully for a few seconds.

Sounds great billabong! I've only seen the beardies a couple of times but it's always a wonderful experience.

Out in the garden in my dressing gown this morning when a large flock of 30-40 long-tailed tits went through. That sent me to work with a smile on my face!

Red kite, over the racecourse at Wetherby this aft'. I had two decent winners as well. A reet good do.

Amazing numbers of long tailed tits, everywhere near here - and its always a red letter day when you see and hear softly spoken bullfinch.
Nice view Chris of Kestrel above Alderman yesterday when you were near there, slight wind, but absolutely no wing flutter at all for ages - a master of the air.

Yes lots of Long tailed tits about, a group flew through our garden yesterday, I counted at least 30!

Mine yesterday was a Little Egret. I was on a bus driving down a suburban street in Ealing, west London, looked up + there it was- a nice surprise.

One was reported at the London Wetland Centre yesterday + as my bird was headed roughly in that direction, possibly the same bird?

Trying to identify a bird early this morning with long croaky tone like finger running over comb, does anyone know a good website to listen to bird sounds?
