| | | Re: Bird of the day! Sounds great billabong! I've only seen the beardies a couple of times but it's always a wonderful experience.
Out in the garden in my dressing gown this morning when a large flock of 30-40 long-tailed tits went through. That sent me to work with a smile on my face!

| | | Re: Bird of the day! Amazing numbers of long tailed tits, everywhere near here - and its always a red letter day when you see and hear softly spoken bullfinch.
Nice view Chris of Kestrel above Alderman yesterday when you were near there, slight wind, but absolutely no wing flutter at all for ages - a master of the air.
Cheers
Ken

| | | Re: Bird of the day! Mine yesterday was a Little Egret. I was on a bus driving down a suburban street in Ealing, west London, looked up + there it was- a nice surprise.
One was reported at the London Wetland Centre yesterday + as my bird was headed roughly in that direction, possibly the same bird? |
