It came out and just sat at the top looking round before disappearing again over the fence. |

| | | Re: Bird of the day! I'd decided to take a friend to Rainham today + was pleased last night when I saw a couple of Penduline Tits were noted there yesterday. I keep missing this species in the UK + is my bogey bird.
They were reported first thing this morning but no further confirmed sightings so remains my elusive one, but my highlight was a 1st winter Glaucous gull amongst the hoardes of gulls.
A pair of Little Egrets, several Stonechats, a confiding Chiffchaff infront of us in Typha as well as the flocks of duck + finches at the feeders made for a fine day. |
