Just before work this morning I was entertained by 6 Carrion crows.

We have some very mature Ash tree at the bottom of my garden. We usually have 2-3 crows in them, this morning there was 6. I presume females were amongst them as the displaying that was going on was great to see.

They took turns to tumble out the tree and dive down then swoop across the garden and back into the tree. They even had a competition as to which bird could do this with the biggest branch they managed to brake off, before dropping it on reaching the tree again

A great display that I have not seen here before, very entertaining.

Corvids really are the acrobats of the bird world. I could watch them all day.
