| | | Lapwing takes a bath Right, no one around, think I'll take a bath.
Oh, this is good.
Can't beat a good splash around. Lovely.
Right time to get dry. I'm still sure no one's watching.
Hey, who's that over there?...................
Oi! Hope you weren't using that camera when I was taking my bath..............
My first attempt at "serious" bird photography. Yesterday at the big RSPB reserve on Sheppey. I've been a keen photographer all my life, (steam railway locos and some aircraft). But there are some things that never change, regardless of the subject. Like arriving at Sheppey yesterday under clear blue skies forecast to last for many hours. Only for the dull and grey weather to arrive within minutes! LOL! |

| | | Re: Lapwing takes a bath A lovely series of shots Bryan!
Lapwings are one of my favourites, so I'll be keeping an eye out for when they return to one of their local breeding spots in the Spring!
I think you're enjoying this photographing birds lark!

| | | Re: Lapwing takes a bath Worryingly I knew that was at Elmley as soon as I saw the first couple of photos! I know what you mean about the weather. No sooner had I got out the car down at Stodmarsh the cloud came over! |
