| | Eagle Owl about!! We have an Eagle Owl that has apparently been around our village for the last couple of years at least, but has spent most nights for the last couple of weeks between my house and the pub 5 doors up.
It is amazingly close and will happily sit on the road telegraph poles or even was on our porch last Saturday.
Don't have a picture yet but will be making more effort this week. Our last B&B guest had a really good dialogue with the owl!
We are in the village of Defynnog, Mid Wales, LD3 8SG |

| | | Re: Eagle Owl about!! Sorry - can't take caravans but there are a couple of sites that do, both about 8 miles away, at Craig y Nos, and also at Aberbran - both are within the National Park, so beautiful surrounds. |

| | | Re: Eagle Owl about!! I live down in sennybridge and for last 3 weeks he's been in a tree opposite our house most nights. Last night I saw him for the first time and got a couple of good photos which i'll try to post later. Are you sure it's been around for a couple of years as I have been talking to an owl expert who was concerned that if it's staying close to people it was probably captive at some point and won't have the skills to live in the wild, and is hungry. |

Although we do have 'folk evidence' of eagles taking babies: http://www.mrspao.com/blog/wp-conten...agle-child.jpg
