Thanks Deb. It was actually 16 days apart. Both come to my woodland hide regularly. Probably about a dozen times a day between them. As you can imagine the birds are super nervous.

lovely pics ...i have a male sparrowhawk that sweeps through my garden more or less everyday after the blue tits that are feeding there ...i have never seen him catch anything but he allways lands on the fence or a nearby tree afterwards ...but as i dont own a camera have never been able to get a pic ...so have enjoyed seeing yours Marion

nice shots fudgey, must say that i had both in two days running, the male opted to land on the fence, and the female landed on the top of a swing in next doors garden, neither caught any birds, rossy.

They are possibly a pair and will be nesting soon wonder if you will be lucky enough to see the nest or the chicks when they leave the nest..
