Yes aeshna,there are currently 6 great white egrets on the shapwick/ham wall reserve,they move about alot but i saw 3 ,2 fly by and one stood in a large lake.Some folks have seen all 6 in the same pool at one point last month.Also saw a cattle egret and a single little egret,however i missed the bitterns i had hoped to see.I did see a pair of black necked grebes on cheddar reservoir on the way home .Great little birds. |

| | | Re: Great white egret yesterday. Seen Great Egret at Burnham on sea. Little Egrets seem greatly reduced in number so I am chuffed to see this today.
